Farmer Greg Reese

Greg Reese is a Southern California agrarian with a passion for growing regenerative, organic food by building healthy soils and biodiverse landscapes. With a background in rainwater harvesting, native landscapes, orchard care, and no-till market gardens, Greg uses his decade of experience to create localized food systems, educate people on regenerative garden implementation, and inspire a life of land-based living.

By joining this course and growing food, your garden can be 1 of 1,000’s of tiny gardens working to accelerate the movement toward creating communities where people aren’t only sharing resources, but knowledge and culture too.

Alana Mooi

Alana Mooi, the Managing Director of Farmer’s Footprint, is joining the Garden Club team this year as our in-house cook, through her project, NANA! Inspired by the nurturing role women have played for generations and embodied by indigenous communities, NANA reconnects global culinary traditions with the land, starting in your kitchen.

Alana will be hosting monthly intuitive cooking classes in the Garden Club, so you can transform your bounty of seasonal harvest into fresh, healthy, and accessible meals for you and your loved ones!

Monthly live sessions with Farmer Greg provide customized answers to all of your burning questions. His experience speaks to varied zones, regions (internationally too), and planting conditions, providing the most effective component of this learning journey. Farmer Greg will support you in bridging the gap between what you’re learning in the course and how to apply the information to your life and on land. *Recordings will be made available for anyone who joins after this date. If you can’t attend the sessions, you can submit questions beforehand and catch the replay.

Each module of the course includes a core lecture with easy to follow how-tos, PLUS supplemental material:, an extensive library of resources, and recommendations to put into action. FAQs

How does the free trial work?
Get 14 days of complete access to our Garden Club course and community experience. To access the free trial you’ll need to sign up and enter your payment information. You will only be charged after the 14 day period. If you don’t want to continue into the Garden Club membership, you can cancel on or before your 14th day without being charged. You will be charged ongoing monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan. You can cancel anytime.

What is the timing and flow of events in the course?

The 3-week course content is accessible in our course platform called Mighty Networks. From the moment you sign up, you’ll have access to read and review all of the course content in addition to live info sessions and Q&As from the Spring season. The weekly kick-off calls will happen the first Monday of each week in April. The LIVE Q&A sessions with Farmer Greg are monthly on the 1st Friday of every month. The live monthly cooking session with NANA will happen on the last Friday of the month. Our Garden Club Community Manager, Andrew Valenti, will also be hosting monthly calls to allow members to engage with others around the world.

If you can’t make the LIVE sessions, don’t fret, you can submit questions beforehand and watch the replay. You will have continued access to the community platform, monthly tutorials, course content and ongoing live sessions and Q&As as long as your membership is active.

What happens once I purchase this?

Will I have time to do this?

The beauty of this course is that it’s a combination of virtual content (that you can watch whenever is convenient for you) and live, recorded events to engage in real time with fellow students and your guide, Farmer Greg. You also have the opportunity to ask questions that relate to your specific gardening journey every week during the 3-week guided course and every month ongoing. You don’t have to rush through the material and can take your time as you put what you are learning to work in your own garden.

You will have access to content as long as your membership is active so you will be able to revisit and engage with the materials after the official course is complete.
