Briar Rose
Biografía
Briar Rose is an Indigenous storyteller of Māori descent, with a background in Film and Media and over 10 years of experience across film and creative production. Her work explores the relationship between story, land, and memory.
Her writing is grounded in the understanding that knowledge is carried through culture, and that story is a living force shaped by place, practice, and time. Through narrative, she brings forward Indigenous knowledge systems and lived experience, inviting a return to relationship.
As Director of Storytelling at Farmer’s Footprint, she creates work that explores the relationship between land, food, culture, and human health. Her storytelling bridges scientific insight and Indigenous knowledge systems, deepening connection to the truths and systems that have always sustained us.
