May 26 2026

Mussels, broth, lemon, a little heat… left to come together slowly, until something simple becomes deeply nourishing. Affordable, generous, and full of life. Food that stretches, that feeds many, that turns what we have into what our body needs.

Ingredients
1
lb Fresh or Frozens Mussels
32
oz Chicken Stock - homemade or store bought
-
Juice of 1 Lemon
1-2
tbsp White Wine Vinegar
1-2
tbsp Chili Paste
-
Toasted Garlic Sourdough Bread for Dipping
-
Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation

Combine all broth ingredients in a medium to large pot and bring to a boil. Add mussels and boil until shells open or they thaw (if pre-cooked and frozen). Serve with garlic bread for dipping and enjoy.
