NANA honors the truth that agriculture is deeply cultural. Rooted in ancestral knowledge and place-based traditions, NANA reconnects us to ways of growing that long pre-date today’s industrial systems. These stories explore the Indigenous roots of the practices we consider regenerative today, and share how communities are reclaiming their foodways and restoring cultural continuity. Through grounding recipes and conversations with elders, these stories honor the wisdom of the past, and invite us to carry it forward.
