Alana Mooi
Bio
Born in Mexico City and shaped by land-based communities around the world, Alana is a cultural ecologist and storyteller whose work sits at the intersection of living systems, governance, and narrative building.
During her time as Managing Director at Farmer’s Footprint, she has introduced the cultural lens of NANA, emphasizing that food is deeply relational and rooted in tradition, memory, and place. She is committed to translating modern research and ancestral knowledge into accessible narratives that invite people to engage more deeply with the land and the systems that sustain us.
